“Yoga is for Life”
For me yoga has taken me on a journey of discovery of who I am “as a spiritual being having a human experience.” Yoga has improved my overall health which is a real benefit and I feel an inner youthfulness that is a lot younger than my actual age. My mind is more focused so that it allows me to be less distracted by outside influences and I tend not to get caught up in the drama’s of everyday life’s situations which helps me to reduce my stress reactions. I feel a lot calmer and more grounded in my whole life which that not only helps me, it helps those around me too.
With regular practise the subtle effects gained from Yoga have a tendency to filter down into other areas of our life to reveal the truth about ourselves and the world we live in. It reveals a deeper perspective on the way everything is interconnected in the big picture we call life.
I encourage people “to give Yoga a go” to approach it with an open mind and heart and reap all the benefits it brings forth. After all we only have one body and mind, why not do something that’s great for both through Yoga… it really is as simple as that!
