How does Yoga Work?
Yoga works through an approach that combines an awareness of all aspects of our being. It promotes the alignment of the delicate balance between the physical body, mind, emotion and spirit.
Through the awakening of awareness of our whole state of being brings forth many holistic benefits that normal exercise does not provide.
The Asana’s (postures) invigorate the body, improve health, strength and flexibility, remove energy blockages and tension. Pranayama (breathing practises) awakens, balances and expands the Prana (life energy) in the body. Relaxation (Yoga Nidra) involves a systematic relaxation of all layers of our being from the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
